The Challenge

Application:  3x1 Digital Menu Boards, +10° Tilt Suspended from Drop Ceiling

Property:   QSR, 32 Locations

Opportunity: Integrate 3x1 digital menu boards with +10° tilt, to be suspended from drop ceilings, for 32 locations of a QSR chain. While drop ceiling heights are consistent, hard deck/purlins vary per location.

The challenge is in the minimal pre-install site prep, such as Unistrut drops and site walks. Also, the installs had to occur outside of normal business operating hours; completing 1 store per night over 2-3 nights at a time. Therefore the system needed to be installed quickly allowing the stores to reopen and operate under the normal business hours of 6am-10pm.

The final result must blend in with the current environment with a clean finished look, and no visible wires above or below displays.
 
 
The Solution - Action Taken

The integrator was able to use all Premier Mounts stock solutions for a low TCO, while meeting all requirements for install timeline, ease of integration, service, and aesthetics.

A 108" Symmetry Series Interface Bar provided a rigid backbone on which to mount the SYM-DB-TB - Symmetry Series Tilt Brackets with 10° adjustable tilt.

The PP-HDFCP - Heavy Duty False Ceiling Plate with guide wire eliminated the need for custom length pipes per store and extra pre-install site work. This minimized install costs and lowered the end-user’s TCO.

24" Black Drop Pipes w/ Cable Access provided a clean, finished look and minimized visible obstructions. The SYM-PA - Symmetry Series Pipe Adapters mated the 1.5” NPT to the Symmetry Series 108” interface bar. The SYM-PAC - Pipe Adapter Covers provided a clean finished look.
