100A power supply for car audio displays, made up of 20A modules, the 978 is designed to continue operating even if a module fails. Two 978-100s can be used in the same display for a whopping 200 amperes. A green light shows every installed and operating module, so can be sure of normal operation at a glance. Overheat is indicated by a red light and also by an audible tone. Car audio stiffening capacitors can be used if even more output surge capacity is desired. A 60amp version, the Model 978-60, is also available and can later be upgraded to 80 or 100 amps by adding power modules.
